I found the inspiration for my outfit on I found the inspiration for my outfit on pinterest while sitting bored in psychology. The outfit consisted of black booties, a flowy tan dress, and a black long sleeve shirt. David often talks about how long sleeves look good on every body type. So I created the look with what I had in my closet. The black booties are from forever 21 that I had got back in the 8th grade. The black dress I got at target while out with my cousin. The dress is actually a large because I wanted it to be more flowy. The snake skin shirt I had got while out on a shopping day with my mom at TJ max. The outfit all came together with my own twist to it.
Macie's "Dry Goods" Outfit
My shirt ($32) and my pants ($39) is from Dry Goods , one of my favorite stores!! This store has so many cute options which is why I love it. Because your outfit always has to match your attitude. My shoes are from Macy’s. The hat I have on, my mom originally got for a Halloween party, but I thought it’d go perfect with this outfit! My ring on my left hand was a gift for my 16th birthday. But my favorite piece of jewelry is my belly ring , I got it a few years back. And I think it’s just a cute little touch to an outfit. David always says that when you wear heels it makes your legs look longer! Which is why I love wearing them all the time because I’m so short haha!
Livy's Pink Shorts
My top and shorts are both from Altar’d State. I like the top because it’s casual and just has a good graphic vibe to it. The colors are so cute! I can tie it to the side or in the middle or just wear it normally and it looks great. The shorts are my favorite! I love them because of the bright pink color and how well it matches the top. The belt comes with the shorts and adds a good accent to bring out the hints of yellow in the shirt. This makes it match perfectly. I just paired this outfit with some white Air Force ones. This outfit was so fun to shoot with David! David has taught me how to work a serious face the right way and it looked great when shooting in this outfit. Haha! He’s also given me advice on how to pose to make my legs look longer. Who doesn’t love longer legs ?
Rachel's Camo Look
Hey gals! It’s me, Rachel. David always tells me that if you feel good in your outfit, then you probably look good in it! My outfit is from some of my favorite stores. The camouflage crop top is one of my favorite tops and is from Hollister. It was around 15$ and it goes with almost anything! My jeans are from American Eagle Outfitters and were priced at about 45$. These jeans are my absolute favorite mom jeans. You can pair them with anything and look so cute while also feeling so comfortable. My boots are Michael Kors and costed 89$. I love these boots because they can go with many things and bring out a super diverse kind of style. My parents and friends love them almost as much as I do! My earrings are some are favorite pieces of jewelry. I always have them on. They are from a brand named Isabella M and for all 3 of them costed 32$. My nose piercing is from Icing and was only about 10$! My mom definitely did not approve of all 3 piercings or my nose piercing at first but after having them for over a year now, my mom admits they have grown on her and she loves them! David has such a unique style of photographing and I wanted to match that the best I could with this quirky outfit! I had so much fun shooting in this outfit. It was for sure one of my faves!
Kinnedi's Red Shoes
Makeup:
I always do natural makeup unless it’s a cheer competition. I don’t like how eyeshadow looks on me, and I don’t know how to do it very well so I just don’t do any of it. I occasionally wear lipstick but it’s either a nude, pink or a natural red.
Jewelry:
You will always see me with a necklace or a choker on... this one was calling my name the other day in Pacsun so I had to buy it. My ring was a present from my boyfriend and I usually wear it when i’m dressed up. Store: Pacsun, Pandora Price: $8.95, $100
Top: One of my favorite brands, Kendall and Kylie, is where I look first at Pacsun. I love this color and it was such a different top than others that I have. I love crop tops for the summer, they look good with anything. Store: Pacsun Price: $34.95
Skirt: My latest obsession has been jean skirts, so I have one in just about every color. The white brought out my tan and matched the buttons on my top. David loves pockets because it’s so much easier to pose in. Store: Forever21 Price: $19.90
Shoes:They matched the top so well and wearing heels makes me look taller haha. David says wearing heels makes my legs look longer and it brings out my leg muscles too. Store: Charlotte Russe Price: $38.99
Samantha's Black Jumper
Jumpsuit: Express
Shoes: DSW
Necklace: Amazon
I chose this jumpsuit because it’s a classy outfit yet still very comfortable. The pants on the jumpsuit show off my long legs which helps hide the fact that I have a short torso. This is totally an outfit that I wouldn’t have normally worn, or even imagined myself wearing. However, as I got older and more confident in myself it has become easier to step out of my comfort zone and try something new! This jumpsuit provides a fall/winter type of look but the slit in the leg creates a summery theme as well! I also love this jumpsuit because it’s black ( who doesn’t love black clothes when they make you look extra skinny (; ). This is the outfit that I wore for my 18th birthday! I also love how this outfit has spaghetti straps to help take away from the heat the pants may attract. David always says outfits with pockets are a great choice for shoots because they provide fun poses that help make your arms look longer.
I chose these shoes because they add a bit of color/ pop to the outfit. They’re also super comfy for heels because they have a thicker wedge from heel to toe.
I chose the necklace because this is a necklace my mom got me and symbolizes the bond that her and I will always share.
Twenty20 Sydney's AE Maxi
I chose this black floral print maxi skirt ($40) and matching tie back tank top ($25) from American Eagle because I liked the lightweight flowing material. It is super comfortable, looks great with my skin tone and the side slit allows me to show off my long legs.
This is a great outfit because you can wear it during the day or at night. It’s a fun casual outfit during the day with a pair of comfortable sandals. Then make one quick change into your favorite heels, and you are dressed up and ready for any evening event. I wore a pair of Lauren Conrad black high heels with a criss cross ankle cuff ($30). These are super comfortable because they zip up in the back which gives you support and has a trendy tassel that hangs down in the back.
I kept my makeup neutral with a nude eyes and a nude lip. I mainly focused on some blush and added some mascara to complete my look.
For a finishing touch, I added some Premier Designs Jewelry. Rose Gold pendant necklace with matching ring and bracelet. I kept my jewelry light to not take away from my outfit.
I may have picked my outfit and accessories, but David is the real reason that not only did I look amazing, but felt amazing as well. He can make an outfit really come to life!
Twenty19 Mya - Flora Dress
I choose this outfit from the dress I found on sale. The dress is a Disney Princess dress I stumbled upon in JC Penney. It had a small tear in the seam, but after a couple of stitches it was back to perfect condition. I loved the color of this dress along with the pattern. It’s shape allowed my small curves to show. I borrowed stunning white heels from David’s Closet at the studio. This dress was a perfect accent piece!
Outfit Details:
Floral Dress - Jcpenney - $17.00
White Heels - David’s Style Closet
Necklace and Rings - Kay Jewelers - ring was around $400 ( Le Vian Collection )
Earrings - Claire’s - $12.00
Twenty19 Tiffany
Hey guys I’m Tiffany! I absolutely love this outfit. This is one that I would wear out shopping or just hanging out with my friends...and might even be my Fourth of July outfit haha. Both my top and bottoms were from TJ Maxx, which I love because they are both super cute and good quality but not too expensive. I got a royal blue long sleeve for $17. It came with thin straps, but I didn’t like how it looked so I just tucked them into the shirt to make it off the shoulder. Then I found some basic white shorts to go with it for only $8. I really liked how the blue looked against the white. I wanted a top that wasn’t too tight because the shorts were already tight and I was afraid my body would look weird, but I think this outfit looks nice on me. When I was thinking of what shoes to wear, I remembered David’s huge collection of heels at his studio and found those white heels that I wore in an earlier shoot. I’m not huge into jewelry just because I am allergic to most metals, so I was super excited when David pulled out the white hat...which I have been wanting to use forever haha. The hat adds a cute little touch to this outfit and I absolutely loved how this shoot turned out.
Twenty20 Whitley "No Shoes No Problem"
No Shoes, No Problem! Picking out an outfit for my photo-shoot was complicated to say the least. What did I look good in? Does this color match my hair? So instead of me picking, David helped me out! As I was getting my makeup done, David was looking through the outfits I had brought and picked up the two piece floral and said, “This will be perfect!” As I agreed that I loved the outfit, I told him there was only one requirement, I wasn’t wearing shoes with it. It’s not that I didn’t have a pair that matched but it was what I felt an outfit that didn’t need a lot, other than to let its designs speak out. With that I decided on a simple makeup look done by Ericka and a simple drop down necklace with round beads on it. But what pulled the look together was the big floppy hat. It was picked out by David. We went through many trying to decide on the perfect one! What I loved most about my outfit was the simplicity of no shoes, little makeup and allowing the soft, two piece and big floppy hat to really stand out.

Twenty20 Kennedy's White Romper
Blog: This romper that I have on in this picture is from Abercrombie and was roughly about $40. I love this romper because it’s all white and white always make you look tan!! I’m all about chokers, so in this picture I am wearing a choker from Francesca’s that was $20. Even though I’m 5’10, I’d love to be taller. So I decided to wear heels to boost me to 6 foot. Also, wearing heels make your legs look long which is a good characteristic I love having. The hat is from David's Style Closet!
Editors note: This out fit is perfect for wildflowers, white on white, windows or wearing anywhere outside!
Twenty20 Kyleigh Stripes
Blue and White Striped Dress From Maggie & Me
I love dresses! Dresses are the easiest thing to wear for a photoshoot, it’s one clothing item that you don’t have to worry about. This dress in particular really boost my confidence. I am not the smallest girl with that being said I suffer with being self conscious about my body. When I saw this dress I fell in love. But I thought they didn’t have my size. The worker told to try it on anyway, I went into the dressing room and prayed that it fit me. I zipped it up with no problem and walked out to see myself. I have never felt so beautiful and confident until I tried this dress on. I absolutely love how it photographed as well. This dress makes me feel even more comfortable with my body. I am looking forward to wearing it in the future.
Red Earrings From Charming Charlie’s
I do pageants and that means I have a lot of jewelry. When I bought the dress I was like I got to add a pop of color, first thing I thought of was my favorite red hoop earrings. They are perfect earrings they are not too heavy and don’t weigh down my ears but they look so good in pictures and in person.
Red Heels From Maurices
Like I said before I do pageants so I need hundreds of different colors. A little back story behind the heels. I tore a ligament in my leg awhile ago and I had a pageant coming up. Well I searched and searched for red heels for one of my outfits that I could wear with my boot. I tried these on and it was a match made in heaven. These heels are also so comfortable to walk around in. They were the perfect pop of color for my outfit.
The Hat - David's Style Closet! He has lots to choose from!
Twenty20 Kinnedi - Yellow!
YELLOW! it’s the color of summer 2018! and also my favorite color right now... i’m in love with this little yellow dress from Pacsun, not too dressy so any event works with it. the opening in the front with the tie makes it not so plain and it’s probably my favorite part of the dress.
store: Pacsun - price: $42.95
This jewelry is pretty much an everyday thing for me! i think jewelry makes so much of a difference when it comes to outfits... my bracelet is from my boyfriend and it has his name on it, my necklace is from Kendra Scott and it’s the rose gold Drusy necklace.
store: kendra scott / amazon - price: $65 / $35
The dandelions on these match the dress so well! I've been a shoe hoarder lately and these are my favorite newest pair, shoes are literally a girls best friend. the platform makes them a lil hard to walk in but you’ll get used to it. David says almost always wear heels or wedges because they make you look taller and your legs look better.
store: American Eagle - price: $49.99
Twenty20 Sarah
I chose this outfit because I’ve always loved how patterned tops go with solid color pants or vice versa. The top is off the shoulder with navy blue and white checks and the pants are peachy colored pixie pants. I love the combination of off the shoulder tops and braIettes because it’s comfortable but stylish. I wore wedges to make my legs look longer since I’m very short and I think the lace on the toe goes well with my lace bralette. I went with gold jewelry to match. For this outfit I curled my hair because it frames my face better. I love this outfit because it shows off my figure, these pants show my curves. My makeup is done in natural colors like brown and tans to bring out my eyes.
Twenty20 Lindsey
gray strapless top - Abercrombie and Fitch
black bottom skirt - PacSun
black sandals - Forever 21
I chose this simple strapless top to insinuate the character of the black button-down skirt. Also the top allows me to wear my hair down, showing its true length as well as not distracting from my face makeup.
I love, love, love the black button down skirt because it is high-waisted (who doesn't love high-waisted merchandise) and given that I don't have much curvature in my hips, this skirt helps create/bring out my natural curves that usually go unnoticed.
Fashion confession: Yikes! As far as the shoes go, they actually fit me a little too big (I stole them from my sister) but I love the way they look with the outfit. The black straps with the solid white bottom gives them a little character.
The choker added more depth to the outfit and helped bring light between my strapless top to my face.
Twenty20 Devan's Casual Look
For this outfit I chose to do a more casual look, one that I would wear on an everyday basis just out shopping or to lunch. I chose to wear this shirt because it is more formal, but I made it simpler with a tie in the front. On a daily basis I rarely wear makeup. I normally don’t wear any and if I do it’s just a little mascara. When I decided to start working with David, I realized I needed to start experimenting with something I had never tried before. With my darker complexion, and the fact that I don’t prefer to wear too much makeup, I always wear neutral colors. Along with my eye makeup, eyelashes are a small thing to make your photos pop! In my first shoot I decided to wear very subtle lashes. Turns out, they aren’t very visible in picture, so I had to experiment more with lashes. Even if the lashes look ridiculously long and dramatic in the store, most likely they’re going to look great in pictures. This was the first shoot I put on lashes myself, and I was surprised I didn’t glue my eye shut in the process. Along with makeup, accessories also make your photos stand out. For this outfit I chose to wear a watch just because I LOVE them and will most likely have one on with all my outfits. The earrings were actually not supposed to go with this outfit, I had just previously had them in during my first shoot that day and forgot to change them! Sometimes your outfits can’t be “picture perfect”! Many people probably wouldn’t think so, but your hair is such an easy way to express yourself and jazz up your outfit a little more. I chose to do a half up half down hairdo. I almost always shoot with curly hair so I decided to change it up. Since it is a casual outfit, the bun in the back added some carelessness to go along with the casual ideal. And last, but definitely not least... SHOES! As many girls are, I am obsessed with shoes. I chose to wear these shoes with this outfit because I had gotten them the week before and had honestly wore them everyday since. When you get new shoes, they just seem to go with everything! Putting together my own outfits is something I love to do, so being able to relay this into my pictures is so much fun.
Twenty19 Carlee's Plaid Pants
n this outfit I am wearing an off-the-shoulder black sweater from H&M (about $25), black and white plaid pants from the Kendall and Kylie collection at Pacsun (about $45), and red heels I stole from my mom’s closet:) I also saw this black hat in David's studio and I just HAD to wear it! This outfit makes me feel confident because it’s black and white which is classy with the playful pop of color in the heels. I am very petite and the high waisted pants paired with the heels makes me reach my desired height. This is an outfit that is great for when you want to look nice but still want to be comfortable.
Twenty19 Carlee's Kimono Outfit
In this outfit I am wearing a plain white tee from Tilly’s (about $15), a burnt orange floral kimono also from Tilly’s (about $30), ripped skinny jeans from Buckle (about $65), and black booties that my neighbor gave me. What I like about this outfit is the simplicity of the white tee and jeans paired with the kimono which adds color and a sense of cuteness to the look. The length of the kimono gives the illusion that I’m taller than I really am. This is an outfit I would wear to school or even out on a semi-fancy date:)
Twenty19 Allison
My style is kinda a Boho chic and i love different clothes that normally people wouldn’t wear. My whole outfit is actually from American because that’s basically where I got my whole wardrobe from. So to start off the outfit I got this super cute floral kimono because I love flowers and the different colors in it are awesome. I couldn’t exactly find the price for it but i’m pretty sure it was about $30. Then the crochet top is so comfy and I’m always looking for those comfy tanks. The fringe at the bottom of the top it’s one of my favorite parts because i think it adds the right touch of that Boho vibe I was going for. And I just loved how it looked with my kimono. I wanted light colored jeans shorts They were about $37.
Now lets go to the accessories. I love bangles. I swear I wear my Alex and Ani bangles all the time. They are literally so cute and they add such a personal touch to any outfit. They all are different symbols that mean different things to me. Like I have an A for my names and Purple Amethyst for my Birth Stone and just all different kinds and I just love how they look with this outfit. Each bracelet is about $28-30. Just this year I was introduced to the brand Kendra Scott and I love the necklaces that they have. So for this outfit I added a sterling sliver necklace to the outfit. They are anywhere from $40-60. Originally when I came to get pictures done, I didn’t have that beautiful hat on but David suggested it and I literally love how it looked. I’m always down for a beautiful beach hat and that one absolutely added an amazing touch to the outfit. You can get those hats for not very much they can be anywhere from $10-20.
For my hair and makeup, I love doing hair and makeup it’s something that’s I’ve always had a passion for and David always tells all of us that curly hair always photographs better than straight. so of course I had to go for the curly hair look and it’s amazing. For my makeup I used all the products that I’ve been using for a long time now. I started off with my favorite primer to prime the skin and make it all smooth and that’s the Smash Box Photo Finish Primer and that’s $20. I love the Two Faced Born This Way foundation it’s about $34 and I just love the way it makes my skin look flawless. t I used the Tarte Shape Tape concealer o get rid of any dark spots on my face and it’s $27. Then I moved onto powder to set my face and I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay Setting Powder. That’s $34. Then to make my cheeks all rosy . I put on my favorite blush ever the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush, i’m not totally sure what shade but I love dark pinks because they make me look rosy and I love that look. That’s $29. I used Nars Bronzing Powder to darken up my face and give it some definition and I used the and it’s $40. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade to help my eyebrows look amazing and it’s $18. Then for my Highlight, which I love a good popping highlight, I used the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlight. It’s $38. For my Eyeshadow, I didn’t do very much because my outfit already had a lot of colors, so i didn’t want to do anything to much so I just used a very soft Taupe Shade and put that in my crease. That gave enough definition to it and worked really well. I couldn’t tell you what the pallet or shade but a lot of different neutral pallets have shades like that. For my Masacra I used the Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara from Tarte and that’s $23.
That’s my whole look, I hope you love it as much as I do! :)
Twenty20 Brennan
This outfit is super fun. It’s fancy, but comfortable and modest. I’m wearing a navy blue dress with flowers on it. It was a gift from my Gram, and made my day. It’s so flowy and fun. David says flowy dresses make for gorgeous shoots, and he’s totally right. I also have a creme jacket that I borrowed from my mom. She pulled it out of the back of her closet and it matches perfectly! I tie it together with some tall high heels - they have creme ribbons that I match with a lacy creme choker. The creme brings out the tones in the flowers. Next, I let my hair down in its natural curl. After I do my mascara, my sister Arden, and her professional makeup skills, are in charge. She helps with foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner...you name it! With this outfit, I wanted a light, summery look, so Arden used some subtle pink eyeshadow. As always, I add deep magenta lipstick to top it all off!
