We Are Celebrating! The fall of 2019 will be the 10th Anniversary of opening David’s Studio in Old Village Pickerington. So much has happened since that day.
Award Winning and Nationally Recognized! This photo of Jessie, titled “Lips Like Candy” was published on the cover of Professional Photographer Magazine this year. The second photo, "Jessie In Stripes" was voted Top Ten Grand Imaging Award (GIA) in the Senior senior category from the International Competition of the PPA! The Professional Photographers Association is regarded as the top photography organization in the world. Thousands of photos were judged in that category.
He has also been chosen as one of the Top 100 Senior Photographers in the country by Senior Style Guide four years in a row. David’s photos have been published in twenty-two national magazines featuring over 100 different seniors. He also has many article published on posing, lighting and how to run a senior photography business. He speaks and teaches at many major photography conferences and his workshops are attended by people from all over the country. David is the photographer other senior photographers seek out to be on the leading edge of the senior portrait industry.

Wildflowers are the most popular Session Extra and can be included in all of the packages except the Basic. There are flowers and blossoms 9 months out of the year in this area and there are medows and fields of tall grasses that make for keepsake images that look great on your wall.

Editorial Photography tells a story. You will see editorial shoots with models which are more about selling an emotion than a fashion or product. It doesn't look posed, and appears more casual. Any photograph can easily be converted to the classic look and feel of Black & White. But some outfits and looks are meant to be photographed that way. You will get a couple B&Ws with your session and we will specifically take more if requested.
I have two amazing certified professional make-up artists. They are trained in the latest techniques and they use the best quality supplies and equipment. They know fashion and they know how I do photography. I have been working with Ericka for since 2007 and Madeline 2015. They won't make you look like someone else, they won't over do things either. They will fix something if you don't like it and they will help you feel and look beautiful to get you ready for excellent photos. Make-up is included in the Splurge and Princess Packages and can be added to the the others for $70

Spent a weekend in Indy recently and met up with my Friends Marci and Christi and shot at their outdoor studio with some of my models and some of theirs. Then I spoke at the IPPG meeting and taught posing and the following day taught an Everything Seniors Workshop! Here are some of the photos from that day!
